About
Liam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research focusses on the intersection of the built environment and a range of different natural hazards. He is a member of the leadership team of QuakeCoRe, the New Zealand Centre for Earthquake Resilience, and leads the Built Environment Theme of the Resilience to Nature’s Challenges National Science Challenge, both large New Zealand government funded research initiatives.
